As a teacher at Booker T. Washington High School for over thirty years, Mrs. Yvette Clark-Jackson combines her passion for education with her convictions for success to reach her students. Working under the outstanding leadership of ten principals of this historic landmark, Mrs. Jackson relies on the partnership of home, school, and community to push students to their maximum potential.  Reflecting on the hundreds of scholars she has served, she believes they have given her just as much, if not more, than she has given to them.

“ Mrs. Jackson always teaches me to strive more. She emphasizes that just because I complete something, it certainly doesn’t mean that it’s correct or done right. I always have to stay on my toes in her class.” -Jasir Torres ‘23
