For the past four years, Ms. Stacie Burroughs’ virtuous character and morality has been of extreme importance to the students of Booker T. Washington High School. Ms. Burroughs has a reputation of being a role model who not only creates a sense of community and belonging in her space, but also holds her students accountable for maintaining both a moral character and professionalism in all areas of their lives.

“Ms. Burroughs taught me so much and made me comfortable with just being myself. She also taught me a lot about the history of the school and made me proud to be a student at Washington. I love her.”
-Patricia Burroughs ’21
