Question: How has Mrs. Suttle made an impact on you?
As a leader of S.T.A.R Academy, she was a part of a historic administrative team that historically put BTW on the map by providing students with resources that ultimately led to the students receiving the most amount of scholarship funding in the 2000s.” -Charlotte Scott ’88
“Mrs. Suttle impacted my life and the lives of my classmates in a great way. We were the 1st class to partake in the School for the Common Good Program with students from Westminster. She pushed us to be more than great and never lowered her expectations. Mrs. Suttle assisted a lot of us after graduation by providing guidance with our college research papers. Mrs. Suttle is one of the reasons I work so hard daily as an APS Educator. Lastly, I will never forget the day that I realized Mrs. Suttle was a member of the greatest sorority in the land, Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc. I couldn’t wait until I joined those ranks and was able to call her soror!” -Tilnisha P. Rosser ’96
“Mrs. Suttle encouraged us to take not only literacy seriously, but also our education. She really encouraged everyone in S.T.A.R Academy to not settle for just getting into that ONE school or getting just that ONE passing grade or that ONE scholarship. She wanted us to do more than the bare minimum. For example, if we got a high score on the SAT, she told us to take it again and score even higher the next time. Being great was just not enough for her. She wanted us aim higher than high. She wanted us to be EXCELLENT!” -Cherise Edwards ’03
