Dr. Margul Retha Woolfolk is a 1978 graduate of Booker T. Washington High School and a 1982 graduate of Spelman College. Dr. Woolfolk later attended Georgia State University where she earned her Master of Educational Leadership and Doctorate of Philosophy in Language and Literacy.
For over a decade, Dr. Woolfolk has served as the proud principal of M. Agnes Jones Elementary School—Georgia’s first STEM and STEAM certified school.
On February 1st, 2021, Dr. Woolfolk was promoted to a new role: The Associate Superintendent of Atlanta Public Schools.
